A support measure for farmers to incentivise the increase in the eligible tillage crops in 2022 to reduce the dependency on imported feed material.
𝘛𝘸𝘰 𝘒𝘦𝘺 𝘌𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘙𝘦𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴:
1️⃣ Must be an increase in the total area declared of crops on the 2022 BPS application in comparison to the 2021 BPS application.
2️⃣ The increased area eligible for payment is determined by the area of grassland 2021 parcels converted to eligible crops.
𝘗𝘢𝘺𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵:
• You will be paid €400 for each eligible hectare. Payments are likely to commence in December 2022.
